Carlile Coatsworth Architects is currently interviewing candidates with a Bachelor's of Architecture degree looking to gain experience as a member of our growing firm.  CCa is a medium size Architectural firm in Irvine, California with a satellite office in Portland, Oregon. We were founded in 1989 by two Cal Poly SLO graduates and are currently involved in Automotive, Retail, Office, Industrial, Restaurants, and Training Facilities throughout the United States.

You’ll be mentored and trained by other creatives in our open office environment. Our client centric design methodology will allow you to experience working directly with clients, who trusts our expertise (with some that have been with us for years). We recognize that our employee’s success directly contributes to our success as a company. Therefore, we value each and everyone’s growth and learning process.

Expectations & Requirements include but are not limited to:

-Architectural degree

-Basic knowledge of construction means and methods

-Proficiency in AutoCAD

-Revit, Sketch-Up, Photoshop, InDesign, Microsoft Word and other software experience is a plus

Responsibilities include:

-Assisting on full life-cycle of projects (Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents and Construction Administration) as well as coordination and communication with Clients, Consultants and other professionals.

-Generating creative design solutions within the functional parameters of a project

-Translating concepts and information into images

-Participating in the process of exploring and completing usable construction document detailing solutions

The ideal candidate will be a team-oriented, highly-motivated individual seeking progressively more responsibility as they gain experience on a variety of projects.
